For Illustration class we had to draw out of a hat an animal and an occupation....

I picked a red eared slider, and a beautician

The medium is on bristol, I used colored pencils for the color and highlights with artist markers took me awhile to do .....

Ohhh and almost forgot we had to throw in a side hobby if you will mine was the turtle liked metal hair bands. Such as kiss and van halen....
